Job Description:
Our marketing team is seeking an upbeat, creative, and proactive Market Development Manager to bring their experience assisting in developing, implementing go-to-market strategies, marketing campaigns developing and carrying out marketing plans to grow the business.
The successful candidate will take ownership of fully coordinated global marketing campaign plans, with the primary aim to raise awareness and drive the demand for existing and newly launched products. The Market Development Manager will possess skills to develop compelling marketing campaigns targeted primarily to pharma drug developers, clinical hospital researchers using liquid Biopsy assays for oncology, etc with a good understanding of molecular biology and its applications in Biopharma, & clinical research. The market development manager will build strong working relationships with various functional teams and outside vendors to implement integrated marketing programs crafted to help achieve global sales, marketing, and revenue goals. The role is global, so you will work closely with colleagues from all over the world.
The individual will have excellent written, verbal, and content creation skills with a proven record in campaign creation and execution with excellent returns on investment. With project management proficiency, the Market Development Manager will turn strategies into plans and plans to action and results. The successful candidate will be flexible and thrive in a team environment, show initiative, and implement tasks of their own accord.
Responsibilities:
- Build and implement marketing plans to commercialize new products and promote the existing portfolio strategies
- Develop content for multi-channel marketing tactics for products supporting events, webinars, web, social media, web, email, video, print, and sales channels and achieve agreed-upon results for key initiatives.
- Run biopharma marketing budgets and optimize the promotional mix on campaigns to achieve a high return on investment
- Partner with business & digital marketing teams to drive online growth of products
- Coordinate with global functions to ensure consistency with brand profiles and company standards
- Coordinate with regional market development managers to build and implement programs within their regions that align with the global campaign
- Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned that will focus on both RT-PCR & technologies.
Required Skills:
- Masters or above in a scientific field (e.g, molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry)
- Proven experience in marketing roles with growing levels of responsibility and proven core proficiencies: 4Ps, marketing mix, marketing communication, channels, segmentation, value proposition, market research analysis, and marketing program development and execution
- Experience in marketing to life science research customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present publicly to varying audience sizes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to distill sophisticated information into concise and easy-to-understand concepts
- Strategic problem solver. Able to build the go-to-market strategy, and adapt to grow faster than the market
- Ability to collaborate across functional teams and geographies, with the ability to encourage, empower and influence others
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% of the time
