Role: Functional QA Level 1
Work Location: Chennai Office
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in API testing, SQL/database validation, and defect tracking using industry-standard tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or equivalent solutions.
- Perform SQL/database validation to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Track, manage, and report defects using Azure DevOps, JIRA, or TestRail.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Work in Agile environments, following best practices for iterative development.
- Participate in CI/CD processes to support continuous software delivery and automation.
- Apply analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman or similar).
- Proficiency in SQL/database validation techniques.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, or TestRail.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD workflows.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic testing requirements and fast-paced development environments.
