This person will support the Marketing Operations Managers in understanding, documenting, and analyzing key marketing systems and processes.
The ideal candidate loves understanding and documenting marketing systems and processes, and loves working with people. They love to learn and then educate others on how things work within a system or marketing channel, like Events or Email.
The Marketing Operations Analyst will support M&A activities like GAP analysis, UAT, and enablement collaboration. They find joy in making the businesses that they serve as successful as they can be, while also giving fellow employees and internal customers a pleasant and productive experience at the same time. They are self-starters and thrive in ambiguity, looking for areas where they can contribute and bring order/understanding where there is confusion or lack of knowledge.
This person is excited to join a team of talented marketing operations professionals and to learn from each team member, while also sharing their own expertise and experience!
*Demonstrated experience creating documentation on systems and processes from scratch, leveraging a combination of logging into systems and self-teaching as well as holding interviews with internal SMEs
*Analytical skills, such as creating Salesforce reports, working with Excel/Google Sheets, and performing ad hoc system audits to understand potential impact of changes
*Experience within M&A projects or experience within large projects at 1000+ person company
*Strong communication skills without an ego (open and interested in new ideas)
*Listens carefully for task requirements and delivers finished product as promised. Speaks up and asks questions if there is a lack of understanding or clarity
*B2B martech stack experience (ON24, SplashThat, RainFocus, Drift, Integrate.com, etc)
*Experience using Slack and the Google Suite of products (Google Docs, Google Sheets) as internal communication/collaboration tools
*Experience learning new tools through self-learning or curiosity – not waiting on a guide or for others to teach, natural curiosity and self-starter attitude
*Experience conducting GAP analysis and other system analysis to help inform strategic roadmaps and key decisions
*Experience working with global marketing teams
