Job Description:
The company is a global financial services firm that conducts its business through three principal business segments—Institutional Securities, Wealth Management, and Asset Management. Wealth Management provides comprehensive financial advice and services to its clients including brokerage, investment advisory, financial and wealth planning, credit & lending, deposits & cash management, annuities, insurance, retirement and trust services.
The Digital Client Experience & Platforms team drives and defines the online and mobile customer experience clients and advisors. As a key part of the Digital team, the e-Delivery & Alerts Product Manager is responsible for the client experience on Online / Mobile channels as it relates to electronic communications (e-Delivery, Alerts, Emails, and SMS messaging).
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with stakeholders to define product strategy and direction for Morgan Stanley’s digital product offerings.
- Participate in the cross functional team to design and develop new products, features, and enhancements.
- Develop Business Requirement Documents and Use Cases for Online and Mobile platforms and work closely with Technology and Operations to oversee project implementation
- Provide support in testing and technology deployments
- Produce and maintain key strategic presentation materials used to inform executive decision-making
- Continuously review metrics and user feedback to identify opportunities to improve the product
- Perform Service Center and, when necessary, branch training for enhancements
- Report on trends, project status, issues, statistics, and other items as defined by management
Drive and deliver the company’s strategy and vision
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in digital product management or related roles
- Experience defining product scope and feature requirements
- Ability to independently drive projects to completion and ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a demanding
environment - Experience working within the Agile methodology of software development preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build relationships with stakeholders across the
organization - Willing to take ownership of challenging and complex initiatives across an array of disciplines
- Highly organized; detail oriented and can act as an advocate for the client and advisors
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field is preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Familiarity with JIRA, JIVE, SharePoint, HP ALM
