Vertisystem Inc. is hiring a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer for our direct client in Las Vegas, NV.

This is a high-impact, long-term onsite contract role focused on AWS Cloud Infrastructure, EKS, Terraform, and advanced networking (Route 53, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway).

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 & 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞:

• 10+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in Cloud Engineering

Strong hands-on experience in:

• EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) – 3+ years
• AWS Networking: Route 53, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink
• Core AWS Services: VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, S3
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible
• CI/CD Automation: GitLab, GitLab Runner
• Monitoring & Logging: CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus

• Solid understanding of DevSecOps, container orchestration, and cloud security best practices.

𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭:

• AWS infrastructure being built from scratch using Terraform and GitLab pipelines
• Multiple EKS clusters already in place
• On-prem workloads migrating 100% to AWS Cloud within 2–3 years
• Close collaboration with Enterprise Architecture and Cloud Engineering teams
